You deal in irrational rage towards a woman who has done nothing to you or your country.

Harry wasn't ever asking for all that much on this...just that his wife be fully accepted in "the Firm", as Kate is, and there's no reason she shouldn't have been, that everybody admit that the skin color of his and Meghan's children were no one's concern, that "the Firm' stand up to the tabloids and call out their unjustified vilification of Meghan, and that he himself be allowed to pay for extra security out of his own pocket to protect his own family.

None of that was unreasonable.

You, however, are.

You are enraged that a woman with modern values and a secure sense of self is refusing to be bullied into submission by an outdated, out of touch and increasingly absurd institution like the House of Battenberg.

I'd strongly advise whoever wins the next general election in the UK to introdue a bill abolishing the monarchy as part of its first "Throne Speech".

If the Battenbergs are going to treat even one of their own and the woman he shares his life with like this, what good is it to anyone? Why not use the massive funding that sustains this institution, "the majestic turd", as the songwriter Leon Rosselson once called it, and put it all, finally, to the good of the many?
