What the hell, Christine...you want to force them all to be what Sidney Poitier was forced to be?

Look, rape is a horrific thing.

It has happened to people I care about. To some in my family.

It's simply something that should never happen to anyone.

But it isn't caused by hoodies OR by black people being "bitter"

It doesn't in anyway mitigate what Ms. Cooper did. She knew perfectly well Mr. Cooper wasn't going to rape her, his encounter with her was in broad daylight, if he was going to rape her he wouldn't have been filming the situation, and he wasn't WEARING a hoodie.

You're getting blowback because, whatever your intent, your posts come across as an attempt to rationalize something that can't be rationalized here.
