Why the hell doesn't the judge just transfer the guardianship to Britney's mother? She has a much better relationship with Britney, it would set Britney's mind more than ease, and there's no reason to think that her mom wouldn't be every bit as qualified to handle it. Why is the judge bound and determined to keep the guardianship in the hands of, basically, the family abuser?
