What's there to discuss? There's no possible humane, non-barbaric argument for the idea that trans/non-binary people should be forced into hiding and, if possible, forced to detransition whether they're capable of doing so or not.

And if we agree to erase-persecute(there's no difference between forcing people to hide their personal truth and persecution) trans/non-binary/Two Spirit people, the people demanding that will just demand somebody ELSE be sacrificed, then somebody ELSE when they are, and then ANOTHER group...and we'll have ended up doing the Full Niemoller.
