Uh, no...that's not "the definition" of racism. it is ONE definition. OVERT racism is not the only form of racism, Unconscious racism-which is what every incident in the article depicts-is just as damaging. People can rid themselves of unconscious racism by being willing to acknowledge it within ourselves. And I'm sorry, but it is never the place of those of us who are white to tell BIPOC people what is and is not racism. You need to reflect on why it seems to be so important to you to minimize the level of racism which exists in this society.
