This is typical of Jess Phillips- she is on the far right wing of the Labour Party; she devoted the entire tenure of Labour's previous leader, Jeremy Corbyn, to sabotaging the man-smearing him with what she knew were false accusations of antisemitism, helping spread the canard that he supported the IRA- he never did, he simply supported a united Ireland, something polls now show a majority of the population of Northern Ireland support for the first time since partition- colluding in the toxic effort to force him to stand down as leader DURING the 2017 election- a major party in the UK actually can't manage to stage a leadership change during a general election campaign- and, since his resignation as leader and since he was replaced by the party's new right-wing, antidemocratic, and massively unpopular new leader Keir Starmer, pushing for the suspension or expulsion of essentially every paid Labour member who ever supported Corbyn as leader.

She also made a point of laughing on camera on Election Night, 2019, when the Tory victory was announced, and her closest friend in politics is the reactionary Tory cabinet minister, Jacob Rees-Mogg- a man who recently tried to ban abortion for victims of rape or incest.

It is no surprise that she is also a vicious transphobe who actively spreads transphobic slanders such at this- Jess Phillips has no organizing principle in politics other than vilifying everyone who in some, trivial way is outside her comfort zone.
