There's no issue Bernie has fought on where getting half a loaf would ever have meant anything at all. The watering down of universal healthcare into the next-to-nothingness of the ACA is proof of that. There is no half measure on student debt or free college tuition that could make any meaningful difference, and it wouldn't be anything at all to get a minimum wage of less than $15/hour.

There have to be SOME "this far and no further" points on compromise.
