The stupidest part of the Atlanta situation was that the officers knew that the taser Rayshard Brooks grabbed had already been fired twice-by the officer from whom it was grabbed-and that Mr. Brooks wasn't going to be able to do anything with it. They killed him when they knew full well he wasn't a threat.

They should have just ticketed Rayshard and driven him home and impounded his car. There was no reason to take him into custody at all.
