The simple reality is this: If Musk, Bill Gates, Howard Bezos and Howard Schultz had never been born, every single achievement attributed to them would have happened anyway, and might not even have required a hierarchal, capitalist structure to be achieved.

There is no reason to think that networks or worker cooperatives could not have been or not be just as innovative and creative as these "gods who walk the earth" types think they've managed to be. Innovation does not require either arrogance or egotism...simply the will, a will which can be individual or collective, to seek something better.
