The Israeli government never needed to occupy the West Bank or Gaza, or to reinvade Gaza now or to be involved in what everyone knows is a fight to ethnically cleanse both areas- which is something I assume you would agree that country has no right to do.

It isn't possible to end the conflict by crushing the Palestinians and humiliating their leaders by making them "surrender".
