"The adults" AREN'T "getting shit done". It was "the adults" who blew what should have been unlosable elections in 1980, 1988, 2000. 2004 amd 2016. It was "the adults" who decided Hillary could take the firewll states for granted and decided, after the 2008 election, that the mass movement which elected Barack Obama, running as AN ANTIWAR PROGRESSIVE by a margin of ten million votes and were promised a significant role in how his administration would be run and what it would fight for would, instead of such a role, be kept totally out in the cold and told that the only role they'd be allowed to play was canvassing and doorbelling at the next election-treatment "the adults" knew would cause a massive decline in involvement and turnout among those young people at the midterms, and thus dooming us to defeat in those midterms, without resulting in anything positive before the midterms.

All "the adults" know how to do is turn victory into defeat and make any victory they don't piss away meaningless.

"The adults" have had their chance, over and over again. They need to get the hell out of the way and let the people who want to win, who know ther best way to win is to try to win the argument have their chance.

And what the hell are you on about on pronouns and "PC"? It's not as though there's this much larger group of people who'd fight for real social and economic change if only everybody was cool with them being insensitive jerks- there's no such thing as a class-conscious homophobe and it isn't THAT hard to at least try and get pronouns right. It's basic human respect and we're all capable of that.
