Socialism doesn’t have to be “centrally-planned” on the Soviet model-nobody on the left actually wants anything like that now. A socialist project of today would be democratically managed worker cooperatives-and networks of cooperatives, to deal with economies of scale)with the decisions being made by the people who create the wealth on a local level, ordinary working people-as in, US, folks. We don’t need bosses, we don’t need CEO’s-we can work together and run life ourselves. We’ll all be freer when we do.
