So long as you condemn October 7th- and I've repeatedly condemned it in on this platform and others- the exact wording of the condemnation is irrelevant. I've never minimized what Hamas did that day.
You've defined the term "blood libel"- a term which had a single historical meaning, as a reference to a particularly vile and ludicrous false accusation Medieval European Christians made against European Jews, a false accusations I will not repeat here because to repeat it is to spread ir- so loosely that it becomes meaningless- it's not a blood libel against Jews to say that the IDF has killed innocent Gazan children, and it was never necessary for the to harm Gazan children at self-promotion, anymore than any other army anywhere else ever needs to harm children.
Rachel Corrie protected the homes of innocent civilians in Gaza; she had nothing to do with terrorists, and the IDF never needed to destroy the home of the Nasrullahs (the family that hosted her in Rafah, whose patriarch was a pharmacist with no connection to any armed faction) or any of the other hones they were destroying.
And no good can come of any further destruction. It's pointless to demand humiliation when all the infliction of humiliation can do is cause the creation of more extreme resistance groups.
