One of the worst things about the mindset Rowling reflects in her essay is that it totally rejects the idea of actual dialog with trans/non-binary people, essentially assigns the role of villains and chaos agents to that community, and simply insists on imposing its demands on every point here.

Rowling's viewpoint is toxic absolutism.
