OK...she didn't come right out and say that Bernie was "Putin's candidate", but what you yourself wrote there proves that she clearly expressed that slur without using those exact words.

BTW, can everybody please stop the gaslighting about Bernie's electability? In the primaries, the polls consistently showed Bernie beating Trump, generally by a solid margin. If polls were the main argument for Biden- and if we're to be honest, they were- then it's bullshit to argue that the polls showing Biden winning in the spring counted but the polls showing Bernie winning didn't.

And in any case, there is no valid reason for anybody to keep trying to retroactively de-legitimize Bernie's campaigns. He had a much right to seek the Democratic nomination as anybody else, the basic concept of socialism has gained in support while he was running, and it wouldn't have made any difference in the 2016 result- a result that was solely the responsibility of Hillary's completely incompetent campaign team.
