OK- He’s done some admirable things. I wasn’t saying the man is worthless. But he could do all of that as a wealthy commoner in a republican Britain, and quite frankly he looks miserable being part part of the whole monarchal sideshow.

No disrespect to Charles as an individual expressed here- simply pointing out that the institution itself no longer has any real purpose, takes up resources that could go to the common good, and really, why does the world need kings anymore?
