Of you want to annoy right-wing English nationalists, simply remind them that fish and chips are totally non-British in origin- fried fish was introduced to Britain by Sephardic Jews fleeing the Inquisition on Spain, Portugal and Italy, and potatoes are from the Americas. There is nothing Anglo-Saxon on that plate.
