Not really. Encampments happened- in both of these struggles- because nothing else was getting through.
Again, if you're going to say encampments aren't valid, you need to specifically say what forms of activism would be valid.
It's not legitimate to demand that progressives and people with humane values back Netanyahu's war and pretend that "crushing Hamas" is the only thing that matters, or that no form of Palestine solidarity or solidarity with the houseless can ever be legitimate.
