Nobody fires conservatives merely for "dissenting". Support of white supremacism, an obsession with dismantling equity programs and replacing them with the imaginary concept of a "colorblind society"- which, when used by conservatives, simply means a society that pretends that structural racism doesn't exist and that every time the white guy gets the job or the scholarship its solely on "merit"- or who push the inflammatory lie that LGBTQ+ people "groom" children rather than LGBTQ+ identity simply being innate in those who have it- are expressing hatred, not dissent.

Human and group equality, and the right of all to feel welcome wherever they are in this country, without fear of intimidation or violence, are not legitimate subjects for debate- they are baseline decency.
