No- simply put, YOU work solely for money. You are not entitled to issue a declaration from on high that greater monetary gain is the only motivation anybody has.
There are plenty of people who work out of pride in doing a good, or even exceptional job.
There are plenty of people who work because they see the good or service they provide as of benefit to the community and the country around them.
And there are people who work because they generally like a particular job and don't see it as a reward for their efforts to switch from doing the work they are do and wish to keep doing with work that pays more, but usually isn't what most people would naturally wish to do. Are there that many people who actually started out their work lives wanting to end up as the sort of senior manager whose primary function in the workplace is to do things and enforce rules that make everyone else in the office miserable for no reason?
