My own view is that JP, even if he has called on incels to not resent women, still bears at least a good measure of responsibility for the incel phenomenon, owing to his encouragement of the idea that what he sees as "traditional" ways of living- in the White Protestant sense Peterson always centers as the only valid concept of "tradition"- is under concerted attack from a diabolical, illegitimate cabal that is nothing more than a revival of the discredited concept of the "International Communist Conspiracy". This interpretation does not allow for any recognition that in any society change, sometimes radical change, is natural and inevitable, or that the kinds of changes we are experiencing now are usually for the best, and have no chance of recreating anything like Stalinism.
