Moderates have forever forfeited your right to pound your fists on the table and demand progressive support- you can't crush people and claim they owe you loyalty at the same time.

As to Buffalo, there was no decent reason for Byron Brown NOT to just accept defeat in the primary. He had no decent reason to run a write- in campaign against the actual Democratic primary winner- and there is nothing about him that is so inherently superior it justifies the state Democratic Party chair refusing to endorse her and implying that his refusal to do so was comparable to refusing to endorse David Duke if he won a Democratic primary. Socialists and white supremacists are not morally equivalent.
