May I assume that you refuse to accept the generations of Black pastors who worked to helped their congregations escape slavery and Jim Crow, the Midwestern Protestants who created the Social Gospel theology that encompassed an essentially socialist, egalitarian worldview in the 19th Century, helping to build the labor, cooperative and Populist(in the progressive as opposed to Southern racist sense) movements, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the Rainbow Coalition and the continuing global tradition of "liberation theology" as somehow not being part of Christianity?

There is nothing in any Scripture that mandates conservatism or passive acceptance of the notion that the status quo is "God's will" and any attempts to change it are anti-God.

Even the "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, give to God what is God's" response that Jesus has to the Sanhedrin doesn't fit into that belief, because Jesus never SAYS, in that response, what exactly is God's OR Caesar, and never says, in any way at all "Give to Caesar what Caesar says is Caesar's".
