Last chance for what? You know I don't support Hamas.

Everything you've said about Hamas can equally be said, by Gazans, to be true of the IDF, an army that has never made any distinction beween Hamas cadre and Gazan civilians.

At the same time, the IDF high command itself has repeatedly stated that it isn't possible to wipe out Hamas- THEY are saying that, not me. It's only Netanyahu that continues to harbor the delusion that Hamas can be wiped out.

What I want is for ALL the killing to stop- and you know that.

All I've said is that continuing the war against Gaza can't "crush Hamas" and that it can't stop the killing.

Why not offer ordinary Gazans something that might make it worth them standing up to Hamas- offering them THIS, for example "if you openly break with them, you and the West Bank will get a state and the IDF will leave Gaza and the West Bank"? THey can't be expected to risk being slaughtered by that organization without getting any guarantee they will get something in return, and it's immoral to hold them collectively responsible for Hamas' actions when there hasn't been an election in Gaza since 2008 and 70% of the population- a population that has no means of ever possibly leaving- were either too young to vote then or not yet born?

Palestinians need better leadership.

Israelis equally need better leadership.

NO use of force can give either side better leadership and Israel has no right to ask anything of ordinary Palestinians without making it clear that their lives would be measurably and quickly improved once Palestinians did that thing.

If you want to block me for refusing to stop telling the truth, go ahead. If you want to block me for refusing to stop rejecting the lie that people are being killed just for being Jewish, go ahead.

And if you ever want to start thinking for yourself and ceasing to parrot "the line", I will look forward to having a positive, independently minded conversation and actually trying to work with you for peace justice, security and sustainability for both national communities involved.

Like it or not, I'm not your enemy and I'm not an apologist for anything.

We just take different views.

If this is the last thing I get to say to you for awhile, so be it.

I will not pretend that the issue here is antisemitism when we both know it isn't.

May you free your mind someday.
