It's what all the states that are passing voter suppression laws are trying to achieve.

And how does it make sense for you to say you don't care if other people want to persecute you for being gay? You're not going to be able to survive if you're going to be at the mercy of what a majority in each state or province- I assume you're Canadian, since you mentioned the Charter of Rights- as to whether you are allowed to be free or not.

And do you not care about the physical safety of young people born LGBTQ+ in the South or the Mountain West, places where gay-bashing is now essentially legal and the form of therapeutic child abuse known as "conversion therapy" is going to be increasingly imposed on those helpless, essentially captive young people?

How did you ever get so relentlessly dismissive about your fellow human beings, anyway? It comes off as an assumption of inherent personal superiority on your part- an assumption which, in my experience, nobody anywhere is actually entitled to.

Why do you seem to assume you observe everyone else from such a lofty perch? Why should anyone, really?
