It's not a question of whether or not you can love dogs without being a racist asshole- it's far simpler than that: Does it not go without saying, in ANY situation, that saving the life of a human being is always more important than saving the life of the animal which has attacked that human being? What possible ambiguity can there be, there?

I love dogs- in fact, I live in a house with three of them. If I saw any of them endangering the life of a human being, I would choose to do whatever was necessary to save the life of a human being. If you have a healthy relationship with the dog(s) in your life, you would never have to make such a choice. Does THAT clear it up?

Nobody here is saying all dogs are evil- just that, if a dog is endangering a human being's life, the life of the human being matters more.

OK?
