It's not a "mantle". Being white isn't actually an achievement. It's simply a racial designation. I simply reference it because I have a Black Lives Matter avatar with my posts and people sometimes think I'm black.

I still don't know how you reconcile apparently being gay and also apparently being right-of-center and dismissive of all other anti-oppression struggles.

You can understand why telling Black people to be polite and essentially to "know their place" when they are under daily attack from racist white cops and racist legislatures and people like DeSantis and Trump seem to want straight white people to go on a violent rampage against everybody else can be justly taken as dismissive and insulting, right?

And why are you telling them to shuffle and grovel and lose their dignity by going back to the discredited model of "respectability politics", when the people you want them to grovel and shuffle and be polite and smile like house servants to are the same people that want you dead, right?

There is no way any part of the LGBTQ+ community will ever be rewarded for carrying water for the white backlash.
