We are never told what led to the cleaning lady blocking the author- had the author asked her to turn down other, paying jobs in order to be available to work for this couple again when they could pay her again? Had the author's child been disrespectful to the cleaning lady and made her job harder while she was cleaning? Had BOTH of those things happened? It sounds as though the cleaning lady may have had justification for her decision here, but it would help to have some blanks filled in.
