In what way are white LGBTQ people "punching down" on Black people, though? As an outsider to both groups, I honestly don't know what he's saying there. Is he just claiming that the white LGBTQ community aren't being strong allies to the Black anti-oppression struggle? Or is he implying that LGBTQ people are singling out Black people on accusations of transphobia? Or is he actually claiming that white LGBTQ people are specifically being racist? If so, is there NO other way he could express this without refusing to accept their personal truth(s)?

There seems to be a valid critique of some aspects and parts of the white LGBTQ community in the degree to which they've done enough to address racism, but it is puzzling that he seems to be singling out trans/non-binaray people on this, given both that they are a relatively small part of the LGBTQ community and that, when politically involved, they are usually further Left and MORE antiracist than the LGBTQ community as a group. If he has an issue with the white portion of that community as a whole, why focus on trans/non-binary people- who are not dealing in this situation with mere "hurt feelings" or personal sense of offense but very often with violent forms of repression and threats of the same.
