I'm conflicted about this essay:
On the one hand, it is absolutely valid to argue that Pelosi should stand down because she has been in the job too long, is too painfully centrist, and spent most of the time she was in the minority in the Clinton, Bush, and Obama eras letting the right-wing control the narrative without challenge.
On the other hand, her own age and the specific incident with the hairstylist should be considered irrelevant to the question of whether Pelosi should stay on as Speaker or not.
