I'd be careful about saying the GOP is going to collapse. Lyndon Johnon supporgers swore that was the case after the 1964 election...four years later, the country was plunged into the depths of Nixon, and innocent bystanders like the people of Vietnam, Cambodia and Chile paid the price. Clinton supporters kept sayin that in 1992 and 1993...then we ended up with the Newt Gingrich landslide in 1994 and a Democratic president agreeing to far more savage cuts in benefits than Reagan ever imposed. Obama supporters were sure of it after 2008...there was a massive GOP sweep in 2010 and we ended up with what should have been impossible- the election of a failed realtor and former reality star as president in 2016.
