I used to live in Alaska, I now live in Washington state. And I've said nothing remotely abusive towards you, so you've no call to be abusive to me or to try and slander me as an antisemite when I'm clearly not.

Nothing I said was remotely equivalent to endorsing the "blood libel", btw.

And in terms of responding to October 7th, it would have been more than sufficient to specifically go after Hamas personnel in type of surgical commando raids the Mossad used to be known for. It was never necessary to reduce all of Gaza to rubble.

But it is clear that you don't care about the survival of the hostages(if you did, you would not be cheerleading for Netanyahu's war when we already know it can never save the hostages and that Netanyahu doesn't care if the hostages survive- ordinary Israelis do, of course, but ordinary Israelis hate Netanyahu and are turning against his unwinnable war.

And yes, it is highly likely that Netanyahu at least wanted something like October 7th to happen in order to give him a provocation for war- if he didn't want it to happen, he would have cancelled the Nova festival when he was told by the IDF that Hamas was planning something big, or blocked the festival organizers from moving the festival to the Gaza border from a far safer location in Israel Proper(the pre-1967 areas).

Every decent person- and that includes all Palestine solidarity and anti-Gaza War activists- is a passionate opponent of antisemitism.

And as to your list of "acceptable" forms of activism, I've been involved with all. The encampments happened because nobody in the US government or institutional academia was listening before they did.

This conflict can only end if this pointless, unwinnable war stops. The hostages can only be saved if the war stops. Hope for anything better only exists for the war stops.

And more and more Israelis are saying that- support for Netanyahu's war is collapsing there.
