I still remember how freaking smug the Hillary people were about how Trump getting nominated was supposed to guarantee them a big win-so big that they didn't need to listen to any of the warnings the Sanders people were trying to give them about the risks they were taking in assuming they didn't need to make any real effort in the "firewall" states and in going out of their way to treat the young Sanders activists who the needed to get a heavy turnout from if they were to be sure of actually winning, how it was necessary to make it clear to them that they and the things they were fighting for wouldn't be totally out in the cold in a Hillary presidency.

She refused to even admit that it had been out of line for her supporters to relentlessly accuse those young activists of NOT caring about racism, anti-LGBTQ prejudice, or the need to defend reproductive choice- that it was one thing to make accusations about a candidate, but you can't ask people for their votes in the general election if your supporters kept collectively smearing them during the primaries.

They wouldn't listen to progressives on anything, they acted as if they were simply entitled to Bernie's votes, they refused to acknowledge that Bernie himself was doing everything he could to get his supporters to vote for them.

Then, after a result they all know was solely the fault of their candidate and her campaign, they started- and still refuse to stop- relentlessly blaming Sanders people for Trump, still refuse to take ANY responsibility for the outcome at all.

Why does anyone still listen to her or those of her supporters who still won't let up on the "it was Comey/Vote Suppression/The Russians" canard?
