One question about an earlier edit you may have made: the sub-headline of your piece includes the phrase "don't lift me"- since you reference the assassination of Robert Kennedy, was the use of that phrase meant to be connected to that reference? "Don't lift me" was apparently RFK's last words, which he uttered as he was being picked up and placed on the gurney to be taken to the hospital after he was shot. Did you mention that moment and those words in an earlier draft of the piece?
