I realize, Lena, that you see the main parallel here between the Nazi/German national psychology, and the wound-based psychology that has become dominant within Zionism- but I'm looking at this also, as an American, in a country where a demagogue with at least fascistic tendencies has just been returned to office, and will seemingly govern with no constraints for the next two years- and wondering if, if the worst possibilities in this situation are realized, people in my country will eventually seek the type of treatment the vanquished Germans sought in 1945.

The terrifying this is, I can't tell anyone else, let alone myself, that we can be sure the events of the 1933-45 era will not now recur, at much greater magnitude, given the presence of thousands of nuclear warheads globally.
