I didn't actually CLAIM that he "told trans people to do anything"-but, since you brought it up, he did say they should "get some perspective"- which is code for "you're all making a big deal over nothing and you just need to get over yourselves.
Who is this man-someone who, as a straight white man- as am I, for the record- and therefore as a person who has never experienced and never will experience a single moment of oppression or injustice, to tell people who are literally fighting for both their lives and the right to simply be able to leave their own dwelling-places without having to live a lie by dressing as a gender that is not theirs, that they have no right to feel what they feel?
Who is he to deny their reality when he will never come remotely close to experiencing it?
