I could forgive Van Morrison, for decades, for being a jerk to people- but when he crossed over into actual bigotry...his tracks "They Sold Me Out"(written from the POV of Christ and aimed at Jews, who Van seems to blame for the Roman Empire's decision to execute him; there's actually a line in the song where Van sings 'they did it for the shekels") and "They Own The Media", on his most recent and worst album, I cannot separate that.

Being a bastard is one thing- spreading completely unjustified hatred is another.
