Husseini- whom I despise as much as you- may have encouraged that, but how many listened to him?

I didn't say there was NO antisemitism among Arabs or Muslims- and btw, a lot of Nazis did identify as Christians and Hitler drew on millennia of Christian slanders of Jews to fuel support for his barbaric cause, and there were numerous Catholic and Protestant clergy who supported what he did from the pulpit- but there was never anywhere near as much as in Christian Europe, and at the end of the war, the Jewish communities had survived essentially unscathed, especially compared to those of Christian Europe.

My point is that it was never valid to imply that Arabs and Muslims and Palestinians were morally equivalent to the Nazis, or universally obsessed with extermination in the way Christian Europe was.

The distinction matters, and it matters that it was incomparably stupid to lump Arabs/Muslims/Palestinians in with European Christofascists/Christonazis is irredeemably evil.
