How about this? Free speech is the right to say what you believe to be true- so long as what you say is not demonstrably a factual untruth and not demonstrably capable of causing actual harm to people in historically oppressed communities who, after all they have experienced, have a right to expect their safety and their acceptance as legitimate members of the places where they dwell or wish to dwell put in question.
Is it really too much to ask that free speech NOT include the right to exclude, the right to explicitly or implicitly threaten harm, the right to incite murderous hatred against?
