Hitler would never have let it go at just having Jews leave Germany- the man couldn't tolerate the idea that they'd still be alive anywhere. He'd written letters as early as 1919 calling for extermination of all "non-Aryans". He never renounced that objective. Of all the things you could believe, why would you ever believe that Hitler could compromise, could ever say "ok, I'll let it go at that"? He wouldn't have been Hitler if he could do that.
