Hamas IS horrible- and Netanyahu's political career should have ended when it was revealed he spent decades "bolstering" Hamas- that was his word when he spoke about this to Likud MKs(members of the Knesset) to "thwart a two-state solution".

There was never any chance that any good would come of deliberately trying to create a nastier, more violent, less rational Palestinian leadership-and there was never any chance that the conflict would end with a Palestinian delegation signing an unconditional surrender treaty on the equivalent off the deck of the USS Missouri.
