Define extremism here? Is it extreme to say that there is no excuse for bigotry or for insulting, harassing or excluding people simply because of who they are?
And who EVER deserved to be told "suck it up, snowflake!"? Nobody ever spoke out against bigotry solely out of personal hurt feelings OR " ade a big deal out of nothing".
And I'm sorry, but there isn't anybody who is simply incapable of treating other people with a baseline level of human respect- nobody HAS to be a bully, nobody has to catcall cis-women or shout slurs at LGBTQ people, immigrants, or everybody who isn't visibly "Christian".
There wouldn't be any "wokeness" if everyone just accepted that everybody else has as much right to be here as they do and that everybody else has at least a basic right to get through their day without being hassled by strangers for things those strangers have no reason to hassle them about.
It's not asking too much to just leave other people be.
