Both of these communities have a right to a homeland on this soil. Any peace arrangement would have to recognize that, and would have to recognize that the issues are land and dispossession, not bigotry. Nobody would HAVE to be a bigot to have an issue with being treated the way the IDF treats Palestinians- indeed, a number of IDF soldiers have defied orders to continue to treat Palestinians like that- or to resist that treatment. And nobody would be fine with getting treated that way so long as it was somebody else inflicting that treatment other than the country currently inflicting it.
