Black people have a lot to be pissed about regarding the Dems- but the GOP will never be on their side. Hasn't been since it agreed to let Jim Crow be established in 1876 just to be allowed to stay in power after a disputed election.

They wouldn't even pass an anti-lynching law in the Twenties, when they had veto-proof majorities in Congress and could have told the Southern Dems to get stuffed, because all they cared about was winning over Southern whites- and today, all they care about is HOLDING the votes of Southern whites.
