As to the things you listed as positive in white culture, I'd throw out the "wealth=worth" equation. In my experience, treating people as though the amount of wealth each of us has ended up with is the primary measure of human value has done little but harm, and has set up an equally damaging assumption that the acquisition of wealth is the only valid purpose anyone can have in life. Too many people are disrespected, disregarded and discarded solely for falling short on the metrics of wealth acquisition and efforts at spent on wealth acquisition. Like a larger and larger group of people, in all parts of the world, I believe it would be far better to posit "kindness=worth", "generosity=worth" "creativity=worth" and "positive effect on life=worth" as the true metrics by which a life should be labeled a success or a failure.
