Any NON-controversial antiracist conversation wouldn't BE an antiracist conversation, because white conservatives cannot tolerate ANY conversation on anything in this country that doesn't use meaningless, arrogant phrases like "The United States is a wondrous experiment totally unlike any other nation" and "this is the greatest country in the world!", even though the second phrase isn't something anyone in any country that could actually claim to be great would feel the need to keep saying- quite frankly, no one who didn't wish their country to be a tyrannical global empire would insist on forcing everyone to say their country is "Great", since "greatness", throughout history, is nothing but code for "let's conquer and oppress as many people and places as possible".

Any course that tells the truth about race in this country will be hated and feared by white conservatives- and any course they would approve of would be nothing but a collection of slogans and delusions, and would probably result in every class ending with the students being forced to chant "USA! USA! USA! USA!" until they go totally hoarse.
