1. Trump wasn't elected by "the electorate". He lost the popular vote by a solid margin and was elected only by the Electoral College.

2. Trump has resisted the recommendations of Dr. Fauci and the CDC at every turn and repeatedly contradicted Dr. Fauci during the health briefings, including the pointlessly dangerous occasions where he repeatedly pushed hydroxychloroquine as both a cure and a preventative when he knows it is neither, and still won't admit he was wrong to suggest bleach injections as a treatment.

3. Trump cares about nothing but getting re-elected. That's the only reason he's throwing tantrums about ending the lockdowns.
